Ky-Mani Marley was born in Falmouth Jamaica on 26th February 1976 is one of greatest and most rich Reggae Singers. He sang in Shottas with another singer Wyclef. Ky-Mani's first album, titled Like Father Like Son in 1996. The album was immediately followed with Dear Dad", which hit the top spot in the British reggae charts. In 1997, Ky-Mani teamed up together with Praswell (Fugees) on Avenue an acclaimed cover from Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley was the first artist to perform at Midem which is an international music showcase which was held in Miami. Marley gave a concert at the Cameo Theatre that was broadcasted live in 36 different countries. Marley's name was soon the focus of a bidding war. He joined Gee Street/V2 Record.
